My Deliverables

- Project Timeline
- Content Matrix
- Site Map
- Responsive Wireframes
- Interactive Prototype

Discovery

I lead the gathering, clarifying, and prioritization of requirements with support from a project manager and business analyst to create a plan of attack.

Consolidate Requirements

Sifted through documents and conversations to collect 95 measurable requirements in a single spreadsheet then each was further defined using 6 key attributes.

Prioritize Requirements

All 95 defined requirement rows were printed and cut into slits of paper to be physically grouped, organized, and prioritized based on attributes like dependencies and LOE.

Communicate Plan

A high-level plan was created from the outcome of the requirement prioritization activities to align everyone's expectations and assist with the build out of a detailed project plan.

Define

I created a content matrix and future state sitemap to identify and organize the content for the new online experience.

Content Matrix

A content matrix was created for the client to outline and identify the tags required for the content that will populate this new sections of the MGMA primary website.

Future State SiteMap

The future state sitemap was created to establish where the new MGMA Connection + section will live and demonstrate content hierarchy across their primary bodies of knowledge.

Architect

I created responsive wireframes for the core templates needed for the experience, which were later turned into an interactive prototype for usability testing. During usability testing, I assisted with the preparation, testing, and results presentation.

Once the final wireframes were tested and approved, they were annotated. The annotated wireframes capture desired features and functionality for developers to reference when building and for any other future reference beyond the life of the project.

Design

I worked closely with the two visual designers on this project to make sure the execution was aligned with the overall goal of the projects and decisions made during the previous phases.

Next Steps

The development work was completed by a different client partner who had more experience and expertise with the clients CMS, however, we worked closely together throughout this process to make sure everyone was aligned.
