Discovery
I assisted with preparing and conducting a 2-day project kick-off and discovery workshop with 6 colleagues and 4 client representatives onsite at their office.
Project Kickoff
We aligned everyone on the history, purpose, and plan of the entire initiative with a focus on our part including architecture, testing, and design.
Discovery Workshop
Workshop activities gave us a deep understanding of experience expectations and limitations from both a design and technical perspective.
Define
I lead sitemap creation and assisted with building the user flows.
Future State Sitemap
A P2P specific future state sitemap was built to outline where and how the new experience would fit into the overall online personal banking experience for customers.
Key areas affected:
- Accounts
- What is PopMoney
- Payments & Transfers
- Person to Person Overview
- Manage Recipients
- Customer Service
User Flows
We built nine detailed user flows to outline all key tasks required throughout the experience.
Architect
I lead the creation of responsive wireframes and prototype with the support of another UX Architect.
Responsive Prototype
Built 1 responsive prototype with 40 responsive wireframes for two breakpoints to represent all aspects of the new experience. The different experiences included first time experience, sending money, requesting money, managing payees, and account preferences.
Design
After usability testing was completed and final wireframes were approved, I worked closely with three visual designers to make final designs for a handful of unique pages before development.
Next Steps
To expedite the development and logistics of the back-end processing, BB&T partnered with Popmoney and became the first white labeled integration of the Popmoney's API.
